To oversee the development of the COEN initiative, including

• the process for developing and administering the call for proposals for joint research proposals

• consideration of new partners to the initiative

• consideration of COEN’s interaction with other activities, for example the Joint Programming initiative JPND

• publicity for the initiative and dissemination of its outputs

• its future development beyond the currently agreed funding cycle.
